Love for the Far Side

When I was a boy I was exposed to Gary Larson’s The Far Side cartoons.  I absolutely loved them.  They were zany and crazy, and yet made a lot of sense at the same time.  Unlike many cartoonists, his goal was not political – but this did not mean that he did not push the boundaries of what was socially acceptable.

He made you think, and cry – cry with laughter.   So the other day a Far Side fan page popped up on my Facebook radar.  I immediately joined and everyday I am immersed in his wonderful zany world!
