There is only one cake in my repertoire, and it is this one. I use it every time I require a cake. It is quite easy to make and really versatile, and even if you leave it in the oven for just a bit too long, it is still moist and delicious because it has a really good cheat – the evaporated milk is the secret ingredient!
It is also not overly sweet, so you can play with the toppings.
