This recipe happened upon a chance. We had some friends staying with us, and my friend went to the shop to get some groceries and for some reason he came home with a bag full of beautiful fresh red peppers. We never ended up using them, and after they left we had this bag of peppers in the fridge. My wife told her mother and she gave us a recipe to use the peppers. Her recipe was great, but we made some modifications to it. I really think it is an amazing condiment – a good replacement for ordinary ketchup.
You can also use it on a cheese board, or as a spread on sandwiches or burgers.
